Digital Information for Social Change (DISC)

DISC connects people across levels, and empowers them by harnessing the potentials of the “digital revolution”. The program helps to strengthen civil society, democracy, public governance, education, healthcare, and other service sectors by enhancing access to digital media technology. It also brings into mainstream Digital Age the unheard voices of the excluded individuals, communities and institutions by connecting them to the wider global society through digital networking.

Microsoft-World Bank-DNet workshop on ‘INNOVATION FOR IMPACT: Strengthening the Organizational Foundation of NGOs in Bangladesh’

20150421_110510Civic Bangladesh takes part with DNet, Microsoft and The World Bank in making innovations for creating real impacts on the ground by using the Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Selected with other 24 development organizations from different levels to explore innovative options, the organization was represented by senior and mid level staff attending a two-day workshop on “Innovation for Impact: Strengthening the Organizational Foundation of NGOs in Bangladesh” held during 20-21 April 2015 in the World Bank conference room, Dhaka.  The workshop intended to assist the participants in thinking of new and innovative ways that technology can enable better programs and program delivery for supporting the community efficiently and effectively.
